Over $10,000 raised at Big Air Skate Fair

On Saturday April 15, 2023, the rain held up just until night time... from 3 to 7pm, skaters and skate supporters filled the parking lot of the Hastings-On-Hudson train station.  Various ramps and obstacles were set up.... skaters of all ages came to skate and show their support for a skate park in our village.  DJ Mike Press kept the good vibes going the whole time, and there was plenty of food truck fun, face painting, and cotton candy to keep the kids happy.  We raised over $10,000 in tickets and raffles.  We raised even more with our "Buy-a-Brick" program, where folks can buy a brick with their names on it for eventual installation at our skatepark.  

Stay tuned for more events to come!  And thanks to all the hard work of Rivertown Skate Society for putting this together.  Thanks also to all the skaters who came from as far out as Brooklyn and Nyack to kill it and have a good time.
