Concept Design for HOH Skatepark

On October 15, 2022, after months of evaluating the survey and boring documents, a concept design for the HOH skatepark was prepared by the good folks at 5th Pocket Skateparks. Jesse Clayton from 5th Pocket Skateparks visited the site at the Burke Estate over the summer.

The design takes into consideration the various challenges of the grade and landscape. The entrance to the park was placed adjacent to the stand-alone bathrooms (pictured in some of the images in the above video) along the access road, up the hill from Farragut Avenue. The obstacles were designed with input from local skateboarders and parents.

There is truly "something for everyone" in this design, from beginners to experts. The HOH skate crew is super excited! We hope you are too!
